Blog hosting, video hosting, and image hosting are examples of application-specific hosting.
In any case, you should think about getting a web hosting. After all, this will cost you a significant amount. Shared web hosting usually cost around five dollars to 25 dollars per month, depending on the type of package you are availing and how much disk space and bandwidth the plan can provide. If you are simply setting up a website with a number pf pages, shared web hosting should be sufficient enough for you. However, those who are planning to resell web space, a dedicated hosting plan is much more practical and efficient. A dedicated hosting plan can cost as much as 200 dollars per month, but you can earn money from it by reselling the space. Servers can handle more than 1,000 websites; if you are not even handling a sizable amount of websites and if you have no plans of reselling, then a dedicated server is a waste on you. Needless to say, you have to choose your web host properly.
